Okay, call me a groupie...

You can call me a Polyphonic Spree groupie if you want, but I love hanging out with my Uncle Dylan... and I think he kind of likes me too. He makes the best music and I can't wait until I am old enough to go to his concerts. We had so much fun at the lake and I only spit up on him once (that's how I say, "I love you!").

Memorial Day weekend at Lake Texoma

I had a great time at Lake Texoma this weekend to celebrate Memorial Day! I got in the lake for the first time and it was a bit overwhelming. Mom held me close while we waded into the water and when she got waist deep I clung on tightly. She dangled my feet in the water, but I didn't like it. The waves were making loud crashing sounds on the beach and that put me right to sleep. The sun was so bright I had to reapply sunscreen 3 times. Good thing my swimsuit and swim hat both have SPF in them. I played in the sand with Rah Rah, Uncle Pete, Bayler, Jewel and mom and dad. Even Uncle Dylan came to hang out with me. See the video above for the footage. I'm such a rock star like my Uncle D!

Happy Mother's Day MOM!

I had a great Mother's Day weekend. My grandma Lea came in all the way from Tennessee to see me. We hung out and my dad made a big sushi dinner Saturday night for all to enjoy. It was a really special weekend. I can't wait to see grandma Lea again! Sunday, dad had to take her to the airport, so I went to see Embee and Big Mema. Mom and me played, ate, napped and sang while at Big Mema's house and it was a perfect day.

Happy Cinco de Mayo!

Happy Cinco de Mayo. This is a picture of me holding the very first picture ever taken of me. One year ago today (5/5/2009) I was about the size of my big toe. I was still in my mom's belly back then (the good ole' days). So much has changed in the coarse of one year.
