My First Valentine's Day
I LOVE Valentine's Day!! My big mema, big grandad, and Embee came over to celebrate with me and we had a great time. I wore my red tutu that aunt Michelle made for me. I just love it. I helped daddy pick out a card from me to mom, and I even gave him the idea to buy her some red roses for the special love day (of coarse I let him take the credit). She sure appreciated them. I am so glad my mommy and daddy love each other and me so much. It was a wonderful first Valentine's Day. xoxo

I survived my first shots
I went to see Dr. Brown today. Can you see my battle scars? I got three shots and one oral immunization. It wasn't easy (me and mom both cried), but dad helped us feel better and we all survived.
I am growing big and strong. I have gained 3 lbs and almost 3 inches in the past month. I now weigh 13 lbs 13 oz and I am 24.5 inches long. I am in the 95th percentile for height and weight, and my head is now in the 50th percentile. Again, those measurements just mean I am absolutely perfect, and I will go back to see Dr. Brown in April when I am 4 months old.
My boyfriend Brighton
I had my first playdate with a BOY yesterday!!! I met Brighton at prenatal yoga while we were both still in our mommy's tummies. Isn't he handsome??? I just think he is SOOOO cute! And he's older than me too. We had so much fun dozing on our mommy's shoulders while they chatted about how cute we are.
Embee finds my perfect binky
While I was in Tennessee my Embee went to Austin to visit cousins Astrae, Maelada and Milo. They shopped at a store called Austin Baby and Embee found this rubber pacifier that was crafted in Germany. I'm not a fan of the whole pacifier idea, but this one I can tolerate. I have even been known to doze off with it in my mouth. Who knew such a simple thing could be so soothing. I might get used to this... if I don't find my thumb first.
I'm a national traveler
My first road trip was a humongous success. I am a trooper and even took the bottle like a champ while on the road... well, most of the time. I experienced my first "pub crawl" on Beale Street in Memphis. We visited BB King's Bar, the Hard Rock Cafe, and ate at Huey's for dinner. I slept through most of it, but it was a blast nonetheless.
In Nashville I partied with Grandma Lea and the rest of the fam while we hung out at Hudson Lodge. I took my first trip to Trader Joe's and saw a little of downtown. Do you know that it snowed 8 INCHES while we were there????? It was a very relaxing vacation especially since we were snowed in most of the time.
On the way home I stayed on the river in Little Rock and got fresh breakfast and coffee from the Farmer's Market. The entire trip was so cool and I now consider myself a well versed traveler.
